Copenhagen Culture: Slow Mornings & Hidden Gems
Share
For those of you who are new here - Hii and welcome to my little online corner. This is where I share travel experiences, fashion finds, and all the things inspiring me right now.
If you havent been to Copenhagen Before.... GO! Here's why...
The culture is relaxed and just easy. It feels like the whole city’s on soft mode. Coffee’s unreal, and if you’re into clothes, you’ll be very happy.
I was in town for Copenhagen Fashion Week, but between the shows and the outfits, I made sure to explore. Here are a few spots I loved. From slow brunches to hidden thrift gems and what I wore while wandering.
🍳 Brunch — BÅDEN
Stumbled on this place when I first arrived and it set the tone for the whole trip. Lazy morning vibes, people catching up over food and coffee. I had eggs, toast, and cheese… sounds rogue but it slaps. Trust me.
What I wore: Blue and yellow Onitsuka Tiger vintage trainers, Adidas vintage retro-style shorts, Abercrombie & Fitch oversized striped shirt, a by FREDDIE LONG tote bag, and Taylor Morris sunglasses.
☕️ Coffee — P88
A hidden gem with a balcony overlooking the canal - dreamy spot for a slow morning. The terrace is peaceful, the view is unreal, and the coffee hits just right.
🍷 Waterfront Wine & Dining — La Banchina
Right on the harbour in Refshaleøen, La Banchina is part restaurant, part wine bar, part café and all about that slow, outdoor living. Known for its natural wines, seasonal menu, and onsite sauna and swimming in the canal, it’s the kind of place you stay for hours.
🧥 Thrifting — O-S-V Secondhand
If you’re into thrifting, this place is a goldmine. Pieces with real character, decent prices, and a properly curated feel. Go with time to dig - you’ll want it.
What I wore: Sundayz hoodie, Ralph Lauren vintage oversized shirt, Adidas oversized tracksuit pants, and Tiger yellow Onitsuka vintage trainers.
🍺 Bar — Charlies Bar
The oldest pub in Copenhagen. Even if beer’s not your thing, it’s full of charm and covered in history. Feels like stepping into a storybook.
Copenhagen just has a way of slowing you down - even during Fashion Week. If you go, take your time. Wander. Let the city set the pace.
